Who employs the Personal Assistants?

Caring Companions 4U LTD are fully responsible for employing, training and ensuring all staff members have gone through the appropriate checks before commencing employment with Caring Companions 4U LTD.

Are the Personal Assistants insured?

All people employed through Caring Companions 4U LTD are insured through the companies comprehensive business insurance, however our insurance does not take the place of normal household insurance cover for accidental breakage or damage to household items.

Can I cancel calls?

You can cancel your calls giving Caring Companions 4U LTD 24 hours notice and no charge will be incurred.
To cancel your care package agreement with Caring Companions 4U LTD you are required to give 14 days notice from start of you care package (cancellation period) or after this time giving 7 days notice of cancellation of your care package.

What if my Personal Assistant doesn't stay the full time with me?

Caring Companions 4U LTD minute bill, our shortest call time is 20 minutes and all calls will be rounded upto the nearest 5 minutes.
Carers will log in and out of your calls using our call monitoring system.

Can I get support with funding my care?

Direct payments
If you get help from social services, you can apply for direct payments. These let you choose and buy the services you want to use, instead of getting them from your council.
If you want Social Services to fund your home care, you will have to have a means-test. This means that they will ask about your weekly income including pensions, earnings, pension credits, allowances and benefits as well as all your savings and investments.
Your Council will work out how much you may need to pay towards the cost of providing you with care.

NHS continuing care
NHS continuing healthcare is an ongoing package of health and social care that is arranged and funded solely by the NHS where an individual is found to have a primary health need. What training do carers complete?

All CC4U carers are trained to CQC mandatory requirements, all courses are updated as & when required. As per list below.
All carers are DBS checked before starting work with CC4U and the DBS is checked yearly.
New carers will complete a number of shadow shifts (working along side a competent carer) before going out in the community as a lone worker.

Kim has worked in care for over 30 years. She has worked in a variety of different care sectors, including learning disability, mental health, children's services & elderly services. She has worked alongside adult social care in hospital settings as well as Nursing & residential care settings and in the community.

Nichola Taylor

Director/Compliance & Health & Safety Manager/ Safeguarding Ambassador/ Dementia Friend

Nichola has been working in care for 20+ years, she has worked in different areas of the care sector from community, co-ordinating, compliance & health & safety to management. Previous to working in care Nichola worked in retail.

Emma Beck

Senior Personal assistant/Safeguarding Ambassador/Dementia Friend/Dignity Champion

Emma joined the CC4U family in 2017 the very early days of the company setting out. Emma's previous job was house keeping at Belton Woods Hotel. Emma had never experienced care before and had never worked in the Health & Social care sector. On joining the team Emma completed all her mandatory training and gained her Dom Care wings. Emma has grown into her role of Senior carer attended various training courses to upskill herself, Emma completes staff spot checks, client service reviews, Carer competencies. Emma inducts all new carers, Emma is always patient & kind. Emma shows the new carers what the company standards are, and what is expected of them. Emma also meets & greets new clients into the company to enable a smooth transition. Emma attends meetings with new clients and is always happy to help & support when required. Emma is an asset to the team.

Julie Weir

Julie has been working for Caring Companions 4U LTD since 2017, she has previous experience in supporting adults and children in the community.

Elina Melke

Elina joined the Pink Lady family on 4th March 2024. Elina is Latvian and has been in UK over 10yrs. Elina has worked within the care sector for 3yrs within a Nursing/Care capacity. Elina has now decided that she would prefer to work within the community. Elina has completed numerous training courses to upskill herself for the Health & Social care sector.

Tia Woodall

Tia is our youngest Pink Lady. Tia has lived in the world of care from a very early age. Tia's goal is to one day run the company.lol. Tia is currently in sixth form @ school, on completing Sixth form Tia is hoping to go to University to complete Nursing/Midwifery. For her age Tia is an asset to the company and a pleasure to have on the team.

Emma rejoined the CC4U family in 2023 after having her 2 children. Emma is an experienced carer who has worked with various other companies. Bring with her her knowledge of the Health & Social care sector. Emma has her level 3 National Vocational Qualification along with all her mandatory training & experience skill set. Emma works her hours around her small family, she is happy to help out when she is able. Emma is a team player who shows compassion & empathy within her job role.

Lizzie joined the CC4U team in November 2022. Lizzie has worked with Nikki & Kim in the old allied healthcare days. Lizzie is a qualified make up artist and has worked in the Hair & Beauty sector for a few years. She also worked at Belton Woods hotel. When Lizzie joined the team she was excited to be back out in the community caring. Lizzie has all her mandatory training and has reintroduced her old care experience. Things had changed and Lizzie worked hard to ensure she upskilled herself to enable her to do the job she loves. Lizzie works hard and tries to please everyone she helps & supports.
